Player News - FIFO and Transfers

FIFO  Players

Did you know about the new Western Australian Country Football League FIFO clearances??? To keep players in football you are now able to play for two clubs simultaneously. You can qualify to play in finals for both clubs but are also subject to suspension in both if found guilty of an offence in either association. So while you’re away from home why not come down to one of the local clubs and continue to play. All you need is a letter from your employer, on company letterhead, confirming your roster. See attached sample letter.

Over the past year the club has been collating the game tallies for all the players that have donned the red and blue since the clubs inception in 1979.  Records were very sketchy prior to 1986 with only player names and tallies listed in club newsletters. [no gamesheets were available] From 1986 onwards there are handwritten club records and from the mid 1990’s there are official NPFL gamesheets. There has been 892 players that have played for the Falcons Football Club between 1979 & 2009 and to view the list go the Club History – Games Record

For New Players

Falcons Football Club is based at the Bulgarra Oval and was established in 1979. This is where we train and play. Although we do not have Club rooms we use the Bulgarra Pavilion change rooms and the Karratha Sport & Rec Club as our base.
