Bulgarra Pavillion Update

The architects and the Shire are currently finalizing the detailed design documentation
on the Bulgarra Community Centre in preparation for a tender for construction. The
detailed design documentation is likely to go to Council at the July or August 2010
meeting for approval to go to tender. It is then likely that construction won’t
commence until around October 2010,

just after our season is completed. Once exact dates are confirmed, the shire will
send out information to all clubs and users of the facilities to run through the program
and any issues this may cause to clubs to enable a solution to be found.

The construction is likely to take approximately 14 months.

The NPFL have made a number of changes to the 2010 fixtures to be able to promote football in the region. First they have reintroduced the pre season carnival which in 2010 will be hosted by Wickham Wolves on the 27th March. Each club will have one representative team and will play 3 games with the top team being the overall winner on the day.

After a successful year culminating with our league and reserves finishing Minor Premiers and then the Reserves going onto secure the Premiership to make a hat trick of flags for 2007, 2008 & 2009.

Thanks must firstly go to our coaching team Chris Ryan assisted by John Sullivan who through their professionalism and dedication saw the Falcons succeed in all areas of the game. Then the players need to take a bow for the way in which they conducted themselves throughout the year both on and off the field and lastly but not least to the committee for the mammoth effort associated with such a successful year which included hosting the grand final.
