RND 11: Falcons v Swans

Mick Formancyzk Cody Hancock

LEAGUE (Half time scores) Falcons 13.10.88 to Swans 0.1.1

The league game saw the Swans reserves team take to the field for their second game of the night and with Falcons playing one of their strongest sides for the season it was a very one sided affair. Falcons dominated to end the first quarter 7.4 to 0.1. The second quarter saw more of the same with Falcons ending the half 13.10 to 0.1. The game was then called off by the NPFL Umpires Convenor, Peter Lynch. Falcons have put in an official query on the validity of this ruling so we will keep you informed. We also suffered a number of injuries with a serious injury to Gavin Jacks [collarbone] Jamie Lee [groin] and Aaron Wheeler [ ankle].

Leading Goalscorer on the night was Shaun Sullivan with 6.3

Reserves Mug of the Week v Swans

Congratulations to Luke [The Italian Stallion] Dicera on being voted best on field by the ressies team. Luke has just joined the senior Falcons but has played with the Falcons Juniors since U/10’s.

50 Games for Ian Drummond

Yet another milestone was reached with Ian Drummond playing his 50th game for the Falcons Football Club. Ian [the good looking one], along with twin brother Dave have played with the Falcons Seniors for the past four seasons coming through the Falcons Junior Club. Prior to that Ian played for the Margaret River Hawks. Ian is a versatile player, able to hold down either a backline, forward line or ruck position, with his height being a valuable asset to the team.  Congratulations and at only 20 years of age we look forward to a long career at the Falcons Football Club.
