CLUB NEWS 2015 Message from our new President:

Message from our new President:

The Karratha Falcons Football Club are pleased to announce we have a new committee for 2015.

On behalf of the new committee and members I would like to thank the outgoing committee members, Clayton MacIntosh (President), Kerrye Corps (Secretary) and Laurie Dalton (Treasurer). Their dedicated efforts and hard work to our club over too many years to count, has not gone unnoticed and we will have considerably big shoes to fill.  Without their commitment, our club would not be what it is today.

We all hope that we will see you down at the oval cheering on the boys and enjoying the games and a couple of cold ones.

My history at the Red and Blue goes back a long way, years of playing and many years helping out around the club on the committee. I have a strong belief in our club and those who fly our flag, and hope to get our boys to the big stage this year and win that flag.

The boys this year are proving their dedication to the club and have been in training for a couple of months now, updates on training are posted on our Facebook page, and a huge thank you goes out to Brendan Aitkins for running the programs. Keep your eyes out for updates.

2015 brings a new committee to service the club. I believe we have a great bunch of people to take the club forward and provide the foundation for the playing group to prosper for the year.  Michael James as Vice President, Mel Lucas as Secretary and Taylor Kulpa as Treasurer, these guys have already proven they want to succeed in 2015 and have made a great start to the year.

We have just appointed our new coach for the coming season. I would like to congratulate Brad Sermon on his successful application for the league coach. Brad looks to bring a new style of coaching to the club that we believe will benefit the players and get them to the big stage. Please join me in welcoming Brad to the club and let's get behind him.

I look forward to a new season full of dedication and determination. Let’s make 2015 a Year to remember and bring home the flag.
