Falcons Football Club Thanks the Shire for Boost into Season 2014

The Karratha Falcons Football Club commenced preseason training at Bulgarra oval last week. League coach Beau McDonald will be taking training each Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6.00pm and invites new and existing players down to the club.

Falcons President, Clayton McIntosh said the club was looking forward to a successful 2014 and would like to thank the Shire of Roebourne for providing assistance to the club under the Community Sponsorship Scheme. The shire grant has assisted the club to recover from the 2012-13 season disruptions caused by the construction of the Frank Butler Centre.  During the construction of the Frank Butler Complex and Bulgarra Oval Upgrade, the KFF club was without facilities and this impacted greatly the ability to generate income and raise funds to cover the operating expenses of the club.

We are only now getting the club back on its feet and the grant has helped immensely. With a new committee, our strong community following and growing membership the Falcons Football Club is looking forward to a great future.

The Falcons season kicks off on the 11th April at Wickham.
